The new master in the art of aero

The natural evolution of Cento10PRO, our high-end aerodynamic bike used by professionals.

Filante SLR is an extremely lightweight aerodynamic bicycle with a significantly improved stiffness to weight ratio. We used the same materials and technology as in the construction of the Wilier 0 SLR.

The result is a top-ofthe- range, aerodynamic frame that complements our pure ascent bike used by Astana Pro Team and Total Direct Energie.

What are the main differences between Filante SLR and Wilier 0 SLR?

Both bikes are perfect for professional use. Wilier 0 SLR is agile, very lightweight, responsive, perfect for climbing. Filante SLR, with a frame weighing 100 grams more than the Wilier 0 SLR, is even more stable and aerodynamic, perfect for rouleurs and sprinters.

The standard bicycle is fitted with 28 mm tires. The frame can accommodate tires with a maximum of 30 mm of actual width.

The handlebar stems have been optimized to have more real fitting coverage. In this way, 240 accufit points without overlapping allow every rider to find the perfect position on the Filante SLR.

The cables are integrated inside the frame, running through the superthin bearing and inside the integrated handlebar.

The frame weighs 1190 grams for a painted size M. The weight refers to the frame in M size with matt finish. For other colors, the additional layers of color affect the final weight so we invite you to check this directly at an authorized wilier triestina dealer.

Has the metal plate on the down tube been removed?
FAQ answer: 

Yes. By eliminating holes and hollows from the down tube we can handle carbon fibres more evenly. This solution increases torsional stiffness and riding safety.

Without the plate on the down tube, how are the shift and derailleur cables blocked inside the frame?
FAQ answer: 

The sheath is no longer interrupted as on Cento10 PRO but is entirely inside the frame. The sheath is coated with a special noise-resistant membrane.

The cables are integrated inside the frame, running through the superthin bearings but not inside the handlebar and the stem. This allows quick and economical maintenance and/or part replacement.

Yet, it does. Filante Hybrid is an electric road bike that integrates the lightest pedal assist system in the world: the new X20 motor by Mahle, a German multinational that is driving technological innovation toward zero-impact mobility.

Filante Hybrid was designed with a very specific objective: to help you go faster while minimising strain. By combining the new Mahle X20 system with everything we know about aerodynamic efficiency and by using composite materials, we have raised even further the performance of the Cento10 Hybrid, a product that has won major international awards over the seasons.

Guaranteed autonomy varies depending upon a number of factors: driving style, the set assist level, the user’s weight, the slope of the route and pedalling ability. Testing shows the possibility of covering an uphill distance of between 1000 m and 2000 m depending on the difficulty of the route, with the battery working for more than an hour and a half.

Actiflex 2.0 is the new suspension system introduced for Wilier Triestina's road-bike line. It's made to absorb vibrations caused by uneven ground and comes in two different versions: soft (for sizes XS, S, and M) and hard (for sizes L, XL, and XXL). Both versions can be ordered separately from any official Wilier Triestina dealer.

The top-range setups will be factory-fitted with 3D printed conformal lattice elastomer. However, it will also be available as a spare part from official Wilier Triestina dealers.

Every little worthwhile change

In an evolving species, only the most calibrated change will result in progress. What really counts is neither strength nor intelligence. What makes the difference is the ability to adapt to change.

The Filante SL inherits its forms, its lines, and its racing spirit from the Filante SLR, Wilier's high-end aero racing bike used by professionals in the most important World Tour competitions. What makes the change beneficial is the application of a few simple technical solutions. The different carbon fibre lamination used for the frame gives it a less extreme and more comfortable structure compared to the SLR version. All of this with a weight gain of just under 150 g for the same size frame.

The new Filante SL mirrors some of the features of the Wilier 0 SL, starting from the handlebar. Behind every decision that led to the creation of this model, there is no step back but rather the desire to look ahead, using proprietary technologies wisely and with determination to embrace an even wider audience.
